Mitsubishi Showdown at E-Town & Evo vs. WRX August 18th

Guys in years passed this was an event everyone would say they would go to and yet most people never showed up. I myself fell victim to not showing up one year due to a bad hangover, things happen, but when 20 people say they will show up and 7 do, its pretty sad.

This year things should be different and for good reason. In the passed, Mitsubishi day and EVO vs. WRX days were different days, this year its combined into one day. In addition to that, this year is going to be special, thanks TurboTrix and a laundry list of other sponsors. This year they are going to have a "Street 16" class and a "Quick 16" class. Street 16 is usually just for cars that want to race heads up and have faster cars, this is usually 10 and 11 second cars. Quick 16 is where the big boys play. Quick 16 is a pre-registration class and its almost already filled, here are the following entries so far....

Thats right...there are going to be FAST F'KING CARS THERE THIS YEAR!

All in all it should be a really fun day. I am planning to run in the bracket class, but if I can get to the track once or twice before this event and I am confident in how the car is running (and how im driving) I may enter the Street 16 class.

Its all going down on Sunday August 16th at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ
