Puma and Adidas makes them I believe. There is a Puma outlet near where my fiance works and they have "race" boots for sale and have Goodyear rubber as the outsole. I would buy a pair..but they have the most hideous color schemes.

Lets make our own race boots I have some old tires in my garage Ill cut them and form them in the shape of my feet they are light weight and can grip the pedals. Damn straight. Why cant people just wear converse to race?
Hahah...I wear low top chuck taylors this past Friday at the crooked drags.
Race boots are different though..they are super light and feel like your are barefoot and the rubber of the outsole is said to have better grip to the pedals.
