Ok, then drilling that hole will only be necessary if you cut down the shaft.

pictures are confusing me ha. I notice you hacked the actual shifter itself and drilled new holes. Did you tap the holes in the shaft for the screws? I assume they don't go trough and bolt on one side. Seems like a good way of holding the shifter in. Whats up with the plastic piece? Looks like you used something else?

  6. #46
No, it's the OEM plastic insert. He just mauled it beyond recognition. :p

haha I just got mine today and installed it before work I will get some pics I cut the white piece like a 3mm too short I can go out of park and into park but it just doesnt depress all the way down. I can hit every gear. Pics to come later tonight. I used both the oem screw holes no need for double sided tape that bitch is on tight.

Not bad, looks like a fairly clean install aside from the play in the trigger. The boot makes it look 100% better, believe me. I'm still trying to email those stupid pictures to myself, but I'll get them sooner or later.

haha he already showed the final products.

Yeah guys I know to take the seat covers off and the floor mats. I got them 2 years ago. The seat covers are because I am reupholstering and they are 2 different colors.

The mats are just for now since they are rubber and easy to clean.

    x2, nice interior, man.

Well, some pictures got lost in the email, I think I left them out. I'll have to wait 'til tomorrow to get at them at work.

Here's a general idea of how it came out with the boot.
