i have a problem

my galant as soon a i hook the battary up my park symbol lights up on the dash and the over drive off sign too i thought it was because my tranny is messed up but with the key off and out i still have power to my windos i can still roll them up and down if some one knows a way to fix i need help cuz im tierd of undoing my battery all the time thanks for the help

seems like something is wired wrong.. have u had a cd player or alarm installed in it???? who did it might have accidentally mixed up the constant and switched power wires.. hope that helps

ya there is a cd player in it but it aint hooked up to any factory wires cuz they bought new wires to run for the cd player

u mean a seperate cd player or aftermarket in dash cd player??? might be your ignition tho like itll turn the car on and off but it might get stuck in the accessory position on the inside but u still remove the key normally and think nothing of it

aftermarket in dash cd player and my grandpa said it might be the ignition to i think ur right ill try taking the ignition out of my parts car after i get the tranny fixed thank u for ur help
