    Weapon R short air intake

    Anyone have one of these installed or heard anything good about them?

    lol, $220 for that? No way! Get a 45 deg elbow 2.5 or 3'' diameter, a couple of couplers, mas adapter and an air filter and youll get the same effect. You can find all that in pepboys.

    I have one and its not worth it. I did NOT pay 200 bucks...thats fuckin nuts. I am going to make a CAI and actually get some gains. The only thing the Weapon R Short Ram is good for is a little noisy grunt under throttle

    *forgot, the damn piping DOES NOT fit our cars. I dont what retarded chimp they have over there doing the measurements...but the pipes need about 3/4 cut off!

    i got a weapon R from the jy in mint cond for 25$. Def sounds good. but nothing else....200 my ass thats ridiculous atleast go with injen

    Do not pay for that....please construct an intake yourself for a fraction of the price.

    Noooooo man stay away from that..not worth paying that much for a damn pipe and 2HP gain. Make your own intake, no more than 40 bucks bro.

    How exactly do I make one?

    I want to construct a short air intake. I would want a cold air but it floods too much down here

    yeh i just asked this same thing on gf...im glad i did before buying the weapon R intake (200 is pretty damn steep for a short ram!)...im just gonna go with a mafs adapter with a K&N cone and call it finished
