id swap out for the 6A12 twin turbo version that is in the vr4s.. ur tranny should bolt right up so you can stay fwd and you will have much more power and a lot less modification to make it all work.. 6g72 is mapped the other way and is not an easy fit so find a vr4 twin turbo motor and throw it in

well a 3000GT Vr4 twin turbo 6G72 is built in the same direction as your car Kavosh_h, th 8g and 3G eclipse 6g72s are built the other way around, the 3Kgt Vr4 engine, not sure about the trans but u could look into the bell housings on the 3kGT NA fwd trans and Spline shaft to find out it'll bolt up

I agree with Galanttuner, throw the 6A12TT into the car it will be far easier.

As for the GTO gearbox, yes it will fit, but you'll have to do a fair bit of modification to the drive train, as it's not designed to take that much torque.

Yea, not to mention that the GTO box will fit, but only if it has the tunnel, some of the FWD ones had it.

As per our discussions made and the answers given by you guys we are getting that the 6A12TT is a good engine, The Idea which i have now is that i want to use another engine which is more powerful and more cc capacity because of this i have choosen this engine (6G72TT).

The Engine 6A12TT is the same engine as 6A12 with the twin turbo system.
Now i want to know this 6A12TT is how much stronger in horse power than
    6A12 ?

Now that you guys are saying that the 6G72TT cannot fit into my car, now what about 6A13TT engine ? can i use this engine will this one fit into my car without much of modifications ?

The engine 6A12TT is being used by VR4, the difference between my car is that my car is FWD but the VR4 is AWD can i make my car also into AWD or not ?

Please mention some engine models which will fit into my car, i am not scared of making changes on my car i will do it if its needed, (But i dont want it to go out of standard way i want it to be standard as it is ).

    Thank you all ;)

    6A12TT will work 2.0L 24V
6A13TT will not work. 2.5L 24V opposite direction in engine bay JDM 8g Galant Vr4
    6g72TT will work 3.0L 24V 3000gt VR4 /GTO/
6g72 N/A will work if it came out of 3000gt 3.0L SOHC 12V or DOHC 24V
6g72 N/A will not work if it came out of US 8g Galant or 3g Eclipse 3.0L SOHC 24V

The stock 6A12TT comes out factory at 240HP, you can happily get 300-320, but that's about the limit.

that you guys are saying that the 6G72TT cannot fit into my car, now what about 6A13TT engine ? can i use this engine will this one fit into my car without much of modifications ?
The 6G72TT will fit into your car, but it will take a fair bit of modification. The 6A13TT will also fit, but again will require a bit of modification.

The engine 6A12TT is being used by VR4, the difference between my car is that my car is FWD but the VR4 is AWD can i make my car also into AWD or not ?
Only if your car has the tunnel running through to the rear, otherwise you'll have to either modify your current floorpan or get a new one from an awd galant. However, you can still run your current gearbox and it will mount to the 6A12TT, so you will have a twin turbo FWD.

Regardless of which motor you go with make sure you get the correct wiring harness and ECU to go with it. I know turbo 4G motors use a knock sensor, which the N/A motors do not, as well as a coil ignition instead of a distributor. You're likely to run into similar issues with the V6 engines.

That said, have fun whichever motor you go with.

Easy fix to that is to just run an aftermarket ECU, then you don't need to worry so much.
