Is it still a waste if i want to run 4-6 lbs of boost on a DD?
I know there are better routes but wouldn't this be good for low boost.

i have searched for installing a safc2 and have found a few questions answered.
I ordered a safc 2 and I dont have instructions with it.
Looked on the site and no english instructions are available.
    If someone can help please.

So far I know red is 12v
    blk grd
    brown grd...closer to ecm
    green rpm
    yellow MAF output
    white MAF input
    grey TPS signal

    My Q's are
Where is the ecm located on my 02 8g 4cyl...behind the glove box???

Where do the grounds go? can they go to the same ground on the harness just one closer than the other? or do they have to have seperate grounds?

dont have a wiring diagram so if someone could post one for me.

And rpm wire...is that going to be off the cam or crank sensor signal?

    Thanks,

Sell the AFC. The AFC is junk on this car. It only does air flow manipulation. You will tune the car one day, and the next your tune will be off because of how the computer compensates fuel trims based off the O2 readings.

If you have an auto, your best bet is to run a dual ECU setup and allow a 3G RS/GS manual computer reflashed w/ an EVO ROM to control the engine while your stock computer controls the trans.

alright well i did a little reading and I havent kept up with the site in a while.
I read that my ecm can be flashed and i should be able to do low boost.
Not looking for anything drastic just around 175hp.
So is the tune still free and if so where can i download it and where can i get the plug?
I found the free download on club 3g. is that what i need.

You need to read more. If you have an AUTO you CANNOT flash an EVO ROM onto your computer. You MUST run a 2nd ECU in parallel with your stock ECU.

The TUNE is NOT FREE. Your car MUST be TUNED after the install. The EVO ROM is FREE, but that in and of itself does not make a properly tuned car.
