I would try to bring down the price as much as you can....I wouldn't pay more than $2,000 for that car.

Naaa its kool bro...if you look at it hes paying not only 3000 for the car but another close to another grand for tax and other fees you know. That car could have many problems with it after he buys it and he can save most of the money he can to fix it b/c from the looks of it from me...car dosnt look to promising.

Oh ok. What's giving you red flags about the car? The auction ends Tuesday so I can tell him not to bid if I need to still.

first of all you are directing your conversation to the OP yet you are talking to him as he wasnt, second of all he cant bring the price down since its at an auction

as for the car, it looks a lil rough maybe its just too dirty inside and outside but for $3000 you can buy a nice clean one that dont need any work

Did i mention that this is a dealer auction? The reason I'm buying a car wholesale is because I want it looking crappy and needing some work to save money on the initial cost. So it should be below $3k. But how hard is it to respray the bumper and gas cover myself?

    $3160

And I've never painted a car before and don't have any spray guns or anything like that.

I checked on Manheim Market Report and the average price sold for a Galant like this was about $2200. Looks like I should be in good shape.
