I must say I am very impressed with how much you have progressed with the build in such a short amount of time.

I really should get my lazy butt around to posting up my build lol

I think I would have gone with a brighter color to give some contrast, but the color you chose is verrrry clean *thumbs up*

Oh hell yea! This is great to see getting done, hope you can get it to a dyno/track and get some baseline numbers from the build so far.

No, don't have the front main harness yet.

right now its on 14" streelies in back and 13" steelies in front with tokico blues on stuck springs with DE front disks and rear drum brakes.

I plan on finding some 17" wheels and some nice rubber with spacers and some lowering springs to hold me over till spring of next year.

    Then its.
    Evo 4 front knuckles
    Evo 4 LCA's
Evo 5 brembos and DBA rotors
Eclipse GSX rear calipers and disks
    Mirage GT Brake adapter
    Evo 4 Rear hub
    Tien Evo 4 coilovers
MB Competition in 17X8 +28 with some nice tires.

If you're going to run evo 4 rear hubs, why not use brembo's all round ?

Also that rim offset will not clear the brembo calipers on the front, they need to have a 35 offset or a spacer.

+28 is more out from the car than +35

and its not all about offset, its more spoke design/clearance

anyway nice build, alot of hard work gone into it, keep it up!

I will be running just the bearing aka hub in the rear meaning i'm still running the Mirage rear LCA i have to run a Mirage GT caliper bracket and i can only run eclipse or 6G galant rear disks.

Same rims and offset and clearing Brembo's just fine

Yes, I know that it's just about more than offset, but I had the impression that a +35 offset was the minimum and the numbering went up not down for more clearance. Then again wheels are not my forte :P
Plus I know that you have a hell of a lot more knowledge about the wheel/tyre/brembo combinations than most people.

7g is just sitting motor and tranny is out(need to finish, just lazy)
6g (vr4) motor is out getting the good stuff like a gt4088 and some more stupid stuff.
    Nice to be back!!!!

in regards to positive off set, the higher the number the closer the wheel in moved in,
the smaller/lower the number the further it move out

so if offset was the only issue with brembos the the smaller the +offset the better
and +38 would the most positive off set you could run (i assume) as this is what factory evo wheels are....

so if you added a 5mm spacer to a +40 offset wheel,
you effectively end you with a +35 offset wheel,

if that makes sence to you?
