    want to hook up a dummy light

    hey is there a wire i can plug into that will turn on a dummy light (fake alarm light) i kinda want it like how it on my mustang 5.0 when u turn the ignition off it will turn on ...so is there a wire i can tap into and itll do the same in the galant????

    any constant power wire would work.just find a wire that is live when the car is off.

    Sounds like your best bet would be to tap your radio's constant or run a line from the battery with a relay attached.

    Use a spdt relay with the switch attached to your ignition and the relay part tapped into the constant. fuse it of course. then run your dummy light up top and you're done unless you want it to flash, in which case you just run a flasher in the mix. not difficult. If you need wiring help just ask.

    you can always tap the 3rd line from the left on your black harness that goes into your speedo I am pretty sure its constant power and its right under dash so its ez enough to work the wire from there.

    if it makes you feel safer, you could always disconnect the battery while you do this so it would accidentally blow a fuse during the process.

    lol i was going to put em on the dash top left/right corners but i thought lemme do sum diff ...i didnt know it was ganna make ppl start talkin shitt or wutnot...but hey i thought doin sum diff is better then being like the rest and copy whats already done on other rides ....im not hear to start no dramma , was just tryna share what i did
