    suspect fuel pump ....

Car's been running great, but now I notice on startup it stumbles, for the first 8 seconds. After this time it runs smooth as a whistle. I'm suspecting the fuel pump delivery on startup ins't running right. from what I understand there are two relays and it maybe the one which initiates prior to starting is messing up.

Where is this relay located, also how hard is it to replace the fuel pump ? do you have to drop the tank or is it below the seat ?

    Thanks,
    Rowan

I had this same issue. I replaced the coolant temperature switch and it went away. Look up the function of it and it will make things clear as to why it could be your issue.

interesting hadn't thought about that. Will look into it. Not sure if it matters but I haven't noticed anything with my coolant temp gauge, or fan operation.
