Lol! It's one of a kind for sure. I feel your pain, I thought of possibly changing the color, but I think I would regret it in the long run.

Just pulled the CEL's on my G and came up with these:

Tranny Codes:
P0715 Input Turbine speed sensor
P0755 Under-drive solenoid fault
P0760 Second solenoid fault
#22: Input speed sensor fault
#43: 3rd gear not synchronized
#42: 2nd gear not synchronized

Any insight, ideas, or thoughts???

It was driving fine a little while after it first happened. Then this week it started back again. It acts like its stuck in 3rd gear from off the line. Sometimes it will stay stuck in 3rd, or it will shift out of 3rd into 4th, & Other times it will shift just fine.

Sounds like its shot. Ecology auto sells them for under 200, you just gotta pull it yourself. Should hold while a 5spd gets put together and alternate transportation is found for the wife.

LOL! If only I had the money! You don't understand that I've been waiting 7 years for a reason to have to swap 5spd. And now that it's here, I can't do anything about it! LOL! It's gonna PAIN me to fix this tranny or get another one knowing I could've spent that money towards the swap SMH.

dont fix it man you can find 5 speeds for cheap now, and if you are motivated enough (dont have anything else to drive) you can get it done in a couple days easy.

That was my thought process as well, just buying a used auto tranny and calling it a day for now. Just need to find one with low mileage and a warranty...
