    new hotness

Check out the new Audi TT RS

    http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/04/p...r-its-closeup/

Turbo 5 cylinder with 340 hp and 332 ft-lb of tq all strapped to an AWD 6 speed. DAYUM!

It also weighs in less than 3200 lbs (an achievement for Audi). 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and pushing about 17 psi from the factory!

it is very nice and all, but the current TTS is already right around 50 grand, this thing is probably gonna be around 60-70 if not more. At that point, I'd take a Porsche Cayman over it, or an M3. I mean I'm glad that Audi's trying to make a TT into a real sports car finally, but at this price point there are better options IMHO. It does look mean though, I'll give it that, and the other options I mentioned don't have AWD, but still, the Cayman should easily outhandle it due to it's mid engine layout, plus it weighs 2867 pounds, which is a nice 350 pound difference, and it has 320 NA horses. And no, I'm not paid by porsche to advertise their cars, I've just driven a Cayman S several times and it is probably the best handling stock car I have ever laid hands on.

I concur, nevertheless the evo doesn't offer anywhere near the refinement or cachet that comes with the Porsche or the VW, I mean shit, you could buy a bunch of cars that are faster than the porsche or the Audi, but none of them combine the handling and performance with the luxurious interior and excellent ride like the German's do, at least the cayman anyways, haven't driven the new TT yet

    For $70,000 I'd buy a C63 AMG.

It'd still handle like a boat compared to the TT RS.

I want my cousin to get one...she has an 02 quattro. Its alright, fun little car, but it look like ass compared to the new ones. She on the other hand has 0 taste when it comes to cars...she had the nerve to say this car is more square and ordinary looking so whe wont get one. I could just kill her. Audi has bumped it up if you ask me...they have been sexy, but with this and the A5...DROOL FACTOR SHOT UP!

About time. I dont know what they were thinking with the past TT. Nobody wants a FWD sportscar!

Dave, no suspension technology in the world can negate extra weight. Come on now. There is a 600 lb weight difference man.
