I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

That's kind of funny you say that. When i first got the wheels put on i wasnt feeling them either. But they kind of grow on you. Also i have got alot of compliments.

Things i have done to the car as for up grades:
    -drilled and slotted rotors
-recessed the 6x9 speakers on the rear dash so you can see them and also wired them up so the led lights on them work.
    -carbon fibered the interior plastic's
-aftermarket radio with after market speakers
    -blue tooth
    -put the spoiler on it
-went from 14" stock steel rims and hub caps to some nice 17" rims. The black rims i have now are the second set of rims in 2 years. (Dam pot holes) The first set of rims were double spoked 5 star, aluminum with clear coat.

This is my daily so im not going to do anything to the engine. I have 170,000 miles on it.

Other parts i have replace on the car to keep it running smooth:
    -struts
    -tie rod ends
    -sway bar links
    -rack and pinion
    -all belts (even timing belts)
Their are a few others but these are more major ones i have done.

I did all the upgrades / repairs my self except for the rims, tires, and rack & pinion. I took it to the shop for those.

I have future things that i will be doing to it but nothing under the hood for power. Unfortunatly!

Thanks! and yea its not all that fast. But living where they salt the roads during the winter and being that the car has 170,000 miles on it, I cant convince the old lady to let me do any big upgrades. LOL
