The special gear for 4x4 runners

That's what my new addition is, apparently:



not a Galant but it's a 1991 Delica Exceed 4x4 Van powered by a 2.5L turbo diesel and 5 speed manual tranny with high/low ratio.

As I picked it up:











she's definitely rough around the edges but the engine is strong and has a service history. Previously used as a tradesman's van so the lush rear seats have been pulled out but I'm tracking down a set of replacement seats (and electric side curtains too).

My plans are to lift up the suspension, fit 31" mud grip tyres to some Pajero rims and do a bit of offroading. It'll make for a good parts hauler as well, I'm forever having to hire a trailer to tow engines etc around.

Im digging it the dash looks a bit like my old 89 montero or as you would call it pajero. Nice pick up I want that roof in my life.
