    what swap is easyer

    is the v4 swap easyer or the v6 swap easyer? from what i can find if you want a lot of power you almost need the evo motor, but if you have a v6 and you want a lot of power you can do the twin turbo motor swap and if i not wrong you use the 3000gt vr4 motor..

    Oofa.

    Its an Inline 4 = I4.
    No the 6g72 from a 3000GT will not work, the motor is backwards to ours.
    Get the Evo motor...

    you can turbo or even supercharge the 6G72 motor thats in galants, but the evo motor is the shit. If you can afford it and know how then do it! Evo motor and get an eclipse tranny for the 5 speed sway and your set...

    How many times are u gonna say V4 when some1 already corrected you and said its I4? The motor is not shaped in a V, its an Inline 4 Cylinder hence the name "I4". Do some more research here on the forums, there are plenty of answers.
    And if you're looking to make a lot of Horsepower without a lot of work or alot of money, then the Galant is not for you. It takes time, money, & knowledge bcz this platform wasnt made like an Evo, which was made for power. But it does has the potential for it. Good Luck.

    what motor is the 6a13tt

    kill me now :(

    If you don't know what your doing, i suggest you stop now. Life isnt as easy as just buying a motor and throwing it in. There are a lot of things to keep in mind when you do this.

    My suggestion would be to just buy the v6, 5spd it, boost it, and done.

    you are NOT ready to do a motor swap. Maybe in about 6 years you'll be half ready. Stop posting, and start reading first

    V6 = 6G72 = 3 cylinders on one side and 3 on the other side and theyr connected like a V shape
    l4 = 4G63 = 4 cylinders on a row
    For me it dosnt sounds like ur up for a engine swap unless u have proffesional help taht is :)
    I would go for the Evo engine. Good revs and not to much tourche on the front wheels.

    Dude Im sorry but I usually dont say this to new people but damn you are soooooo not ready to swap an engine. Please read some threads on what people have done with their car and learn as much as you can before you take on a swap. If you have a 4cyl G than there are two things you can do if you have lets say from 2000-2003 G. Either just build up the stock motor, or as other people do here just throw a turbo on /w a 3g tranny swap. Or you can throw an Evo head on the 4g64 block. But if you really wanna get shit working im with everyone....Swap an evo engine in there. Oooooooorrrr you can put a 6g72 v6 G motor in there. There is another option you can try and thats putting the diamante engine in which is a 3.5l engine. But my guess....duuude why dont you just save your money for school or for a car thats already turbocharged ok.
