True, true, though I meant why haven't more people done that mod, but the more I think of it, unless you retrofit or something, not many folk will actually split their heads to color-match the shroud.

actually some members have color matched their headlights, both 7G and 8G. off the top of my head, 4GRIM, MROD, HONDAKILLERGTZ and CARDUDE03.

Yes I think I've seen M-Rod's white and HondaKillerGTZ's red, I wonder if silver has been done often though, that color looks nice. I have a gray car, so my '03's already color-matched

umm never was a real need for anyone to do silver since they could just use '99-'01 heads which are chrome inside.

True, but silver is not as glossy, it's more understated than chrome, not so reflective, but I see what you're saying, fam.

Looks much better than mine did. When I did it, I kept wondering how it would look on a better color than white. It looks good on GTZ's, but I don't think it would look good at all with the chrome grille cars. They would need to color-match their grille as well to pull of the look.
