    Emerson's Thread

    Alright well i got my Galant back in 07 from my parents. Don't have my pics from before but here is what Ive done so far.

    Engine:
    - eBay Short Ram Intake with custom bracket.
    - Magnaflow Muffler

    Suspension:
    - Tien Basic Coilovers
    - 3G Eclipse OEM Strut Bar

    Exterior:
    - Wicked White Paint Job
    - DDM Tuning 5000k HID's
    - 8G-B Headlights & Taillights
    - USDM Modified JDM Style Grille

    Interior:
    - Pioneer Head-Unit

    Wheels/Tires/Brakes:
    - 3G OEM 17inch Wheels [with 7mm spacers]
    - 225/45/17 Hankook V12 in front

    I ordered new Nexen N3000 ZR tires already just waiting for them to get shipped. 235/35/R19's btw if anyone is curious.

    i didnt know ddm offered a 7000k bulb ? ?

    lookin good slap some tire shine on that steely lol
    i doubt its still on there, thats like the worst look in the world
    dam flats!

    im saving up for GR2's. I have Megan Springs but i dont want to put it on stock suspension

    actually i bought 8000k from DDM but when i bought the heads from Ivory he tossed in the bulbs since he was getting JDM Heads he had no use for them

    haha, i spray painted the steely back when i didnt have any rims like 2 years ago and it looks worse now cuz its all chipping haha

    Yea, definitely get the GR-2's first, putting the springs on the stock struts will:

    A. Make it a project that you will have to do twice basically

    B. Greatly increase your risk of blowing your struts

    (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

    So I'd say just do it all at once man. I did, it was a fun project and I learned some useful stuff :)

    Took me 11 hours... lol

    so it took youy 11 hrs to do the suspension? must have been your first 1. I did mine in 4 hrs takin my time and i did my first 8g 1 without a spring compressor and most tools in like 7 hrs.


    ok emerson.. def drop next and hes right about the struts change them the first time around.. are you planning on modding the motor? what are your plans???!!!

    just in case that u dont feel to install the lower suspension by ureself.. i know a performance shop that putted mine for $25 per tire..!!

    not planning on doing anything major. i just want to have car that looks nice. speed isnt really a big issue. but hopefully eventually a VRG front =]

    I think he means per wheel, so 25$ for the front left, 25$ for the front right, etc, meaning 100$ for all 4 struts/shocks to be installed. I'm assuming.

    thats cheap !! i paid 300 to have my whole suspension and camber kit put on and the guy cut me a deal from his normal price cause i deliver pizza to him regularly
