    cold air intake

I want to start on this project and i searched that the best one to use is one from an acura gsr I've searched on ebay and there's too many to choose from.

Can anyone show me a good intake kit that they have bought?

    Thanks.

I've read those posts before but thanks anyway.

I'm just really looking for a cai that someone has used or recommends from ebay that requires little to no modification

From what I read in those threads I posted the Acura upper pipe would work but I dont kno if the lower pipe would work fine. It might work though i'd say try it or try and make your own CAI.

The weapon R intake is trash, its a short ram and IT IS NOT BOLT ON! It doesnt fit properly and you have to cut like 3/4 of the pipe off because it doesnt fit. Unless you relocate the battery. Which sounds like its more work than you are willing to do. Read the tutorials a little more in depth (I know...you read them) and just jump in. If you want a name brand...not that it will matter, then pick a proven name. Other wise just get piping and a filter of choice....the filter is actually the only part of the intake that matters

ok I got it all figured out:D

I read that a metal MAS adapter is better, but I can't seem to find one. Does anyone know where I can get one?

One more thing, is it better to replace the intake vent hose on the crankcase with an air breather?

^^^ yup, that's the one. and with a shiny paintjob too!!! i prefer the metal ones over the plastic ones any day of the weak, mostly because, well, it's not crappy plastic, and the metal ones (like the one you linked) open up another 1.5" over the plastic.
