cam gears

My friend is selling me adjustable camgears from his 4g63.
Will those work on my 4g64 with 4g63 head?

You will have to adjust the cam gears becasue the timing of the 63 is different........ The best thing to do is get the gs 64 dohc cam gears then you wont have to mess with any of that

GS gears are only one tooth advanced if I remember right. So on adjustables, just set them one mark advanced and you can start degreeing your cams from there.

If you arent going to degree your cams or still have stock cams, just stick with the GS gears.
