headlight removal

Hey guys...I have a question...I have a 97 Galant ES and I'm trying to remove the headlights to gain access to the inside of the headlight so i can get them really clear.The problem I'm having is after removing the 4 bolts that hold the lights in they won't come out.From what i can tell there is some kind of flared edges on the back side of the headlight assembly making the back side of the light larger than the opening so the damn thing wont come out.I have even gone as far as to try and remove the top panel running across the front of the car.( running across the top of the light)any ideas on how to get these things out?

You have to remove the front bumper to get the headlights out. There a Tutorial on that somewhere around here.

Damn.....I suspected as much but I was hoping not....lol
