Im new to galants!!! Wats up!!!!

WATS UP GUYS!!!!!! I GOTTA 94 5SPD, I HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS AND NEED TO KNOW A LOT OF INFO...SO IF YOU CAN HELP ME OUT IT WOULD BE GREAT!!!

FIRST I WANA KNOW DO GALANTS RUN BETTA WITH SHORT RAM INTAKE OR COLD AIR INTAKE?

SECOND I NEED TO GET SOME STOCK FOG LIGHTS NE BODY KNOW A PLACE OR KNOW SOME ONE?

THIRD IM TRYN TO KEEP MY CAR LOOKING STOCK AS I CAN WITH OUT IT BEING STOCK UNDER THE HOOD IF U KNOW WAT I MEAN...THE ONLY COSMETIC THINGS I WANNA DO....ARE A FRONT LIP AND A STOCK SPOILER AND 17 AFTER MARKET WHEELS(i want black or just some nice alloy looking ones cause my boy paint wheels)

FOURTH IM TRYN TO FIND AN SHORT SHIFTER SO I CAN REPLACE THIS STOCK SHIFTER I HAVE.....AND DOES NE ONE KNOW HOW HARD IT WOULD BE TO MAKE EVERYTHING IN MY CAR AUTOMATIC(LIKE WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, AND POWER FOLDING MIRRORS)

FIFTH SUSPENSION ????????(LOST ON ALL COUNTS) DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD GET COILOVERS, OR JUST NEW STRUTS AND LOWERING SPRINGS AND NEW BUSHINGS....JUST LET ME KNOW

WELL THATS ALL I CAN THINK OF IF NEBODY CAN THINK OF NE THING ELSE I CAN DO LET ME KNOW!!!

short ram and cold air both will only get your 1 or 2 HP, and check ebay for the fog lights, if you can afford coilovers and dont mind having a little bit stiffer ride then get coilovers the are the shit. if you just want a lowered look then get shocks/struts and springs

1st. Go with short ram, The gains will be about the same.
2nd. Try the Junk yard or get some aftermarkets one from ebay....
3rd. Look around the 7g customizing section for ideas on front lips/bumpers..
4th. I should let you look for this one but 2g eclipse shortshifters will work on the 7g galant. ( good luck on swtiching everything to automatic try the junk yard again for swaps....
5th Search 7g performance section for different suspension setups... again 2g eclipse setups can be used...

Welcome TGC newcomer.

I am also a new owner of a Galant (2000 ES V6). Depending on what platform your shooting for

speed/style/both which sounds like your going for styling points under the hood & exterior. Prob best way for a nice clean ride. however keeping her(Galant) running healthy, by following the service schedule, researching any defects/recalls. will keep her from mechanical/electrical repairs in the far future. One thing is certain, you'll learn almost everything you need to know here at "TGC". In the long run, you'll become a Do It Yourself mechanic in no time.

Welcome since it hasn't been mention too excessively yet. Search the forums there are so many threads that contain the info you want.

I will say if you plan to put down any power:
-Look into a nice turbo set up.
-Get coilovers they will be rough, but worth it if you want to corner.

Pretty much your questions are answered so far, CAI and SRI dont really make a difference besides noise cause of lengths. Welcome to TGC and def go with 17's both my cars are running em. :)
