The car has been through many changes, and I have taken pictures of everything. It is my daily driver and my project, and it is really hard to modify it this way .For some it may be annoying, for some it may be fun. I hope you enjoy it!

This is how my car looked when I first took it home back in 2006/winter/ - just another galant on the street. That didn't work out for me very well; having experience in painting and detailing cars, some basic knowledge of mechanics I can proudly say that my car hasn't been in shop for any repairs. So here we go:

Did my first ghetto mods /hahaha/

The "monster" 2.4L 16V SOHC engine

During the summer I installed my first sway bar out of 2g GST /15mm/

I did the front and rear end conversion to 97-98 Galant /7Gb/, and got my first Evo spoiler - Evo 7 actually. Started working on the enterior again

    interior

    2007 winter

I started modding as much as i could:

Did my rear disc swap, dual piston front calipers off 2G GSX, and 5 lug conversion to all four corners.

    2008 Spring

I took a week off and started this.............and yes i painted it in the driveway.

    making some progress

    Finally done!!

Installed exhaust: 1g Eclipse Tsudo SS header, 3'' Magnaflow cat and 3'' Megan catback.

Pulled the old rear sway bar out.....

......and replaced it with 8G Galant 18mm sway bar and tubular lower and upper control arms.

KYB AGX and Eibach Pro kit

Bigger transmission fluid cooler and some other cooler.....

The interior was redone completely - red and black leather racing front seats, leather rear seat, upholsered black leather door inserts, 2g Eclipse stitched steering wheel /no more crappy ebay wheel/.

Exterior was changed a little - got new Evo 9 spoiler, sold the Evo 7 one

Suspension - got rid of the pro kit and installed Ground Control coilover sleeves with QA1 springs 650lbs front ans 450lbs rear. Installed front and rear camber kits.

Drivetrain - 5 spd swap was scheduled for December 7th 2008, and I have all the parts for it. It will be nothing special: 7g galant manual transmission, Exedy clutch, fidanza flywheel, SS clutch line.

Powertrain - for an exception of the air filter, and header and exhaust, nothing was done, because it was still auto. I needed a few more parts to finish the parts list and go for the installation. It will be pretty basic blow thru setup - GM MAF w/ translator, 16G turbo, Bullseye hot side, Evo 3 O2 housing, 3'' downpipe, 2.5'' intercooler piping, 1g Eclipse BOV, Aeromotive FPR. It will be running 8-10 psi on stock motor.

Started collecting parts for turbo build

16G turbo with Road Race Eng. j-pipe.

    Misc. parts

    Bullseye hotside

Evo 3 manifold, and Evo 3 O2 housing

    MAFT gen1 ver 1.6

More parts for the turbo build

    Prothane motor mounts

Fuel Rail adapters inlet and outlet

    Aeromotive FPR

Summint racing high flow fuel filter -6AN

    Misc Gaskets

    Misc bolts

    Spark Plugs NGK BPR7ES

    Silicone Couplers

Manual Boost Controller with quick bleed valve

PLX wideband controller and Prosport A/F digital gauge

Sold the Evo 9 intercooler, and got smaller 3'' core

    Dejon tool Intake pipe

    Fluidine Aluminum Radiator

    Dec 7th 2008

Well, I was officially 5 spd swapped. It took 14 hours of non stop work of me and Bronxbomr . I think it went good, although we had a small problem with the master cylinder - it took only 6 hours to figure it out. Car was running, but I was having some issues with adjusting the clutch pedal. I think the master cylinder that i bought off Advanced auto parts wasnt not doing its job; I don't have pics of the work, but ill post some of finished job later

    Update:

    Some suspension and other parts

    2-point under brace

    Aluminum shiter cable bushings

    JDM head lights.

The other project ive been working on this winter

    work in progress

    Some more interior updates:

    work in progress

    before priming

Got some old style Konig rims - Konig Verdict actually and picked up 225/40/18 Kumho Ecsta AST

Got rid of the wide open front bumper and bought another one in good shape

A recent picture of the engine bay. Still trying to get rid of the fugly blue, but no time lately.

Got rid of all the cruise control system and installed non-cruise cotrol throttle cable.

    MOre parts

    SS oil feed line

    Balance shaft eliminating kit

    -6AN Fuel endings

    Evo9 fuel pump

    Evo3 510cc Fuel Injectors

    Symborski shifting kit

    RRE J-pipe fitted with coupler

Dejon Tool Intake pipe with new filter

Rebuild 16g mated with the Bullseye housing

    Custom Blow off pipe

    2.5'' T-bolt clamps

Rebuild 63mm TB with block off plate

    JDM power folding mirrors

    Evo9 Steering Wheel

    Red-out tail lights

    Summer 2009

    Getting ready for paint.

The color will be Hot Rods Red

Did some fuel support work . Painted the fuel rail and installed the 6AN fittings.

I ported the intake manifold today it is 60mm now matching the 1g TB.

Ported both sides of the Evo3 O2 housing to match the aluminum gasket.

    Finished

Evo 3 510cc injectors are installed.

    Bolted the O2 housing

Evo3 manifold is ready to go in.

    Finished.

    July 2009

    Got these babes.

    Waiting to get it aligned.

    In my driveway

Hm, I have a lug nut missing

    8th Gen Spoiler

    August 2009

I did some work these days. Replaced the factory water temp gauge with Prosport gauge. I needed to trim the rear of the cluster to accommodate the deep gauge /never seen such a deep gauge/. I made the temp sensor adapter which will be fitted in the lower thermostat hose. Welded 1 1/4'' exhaust pipe and M8 x 1.00 nut together. NOw I have give it a coat or two of high temp paint.

Full Spread of Prosport Gauges - Digital AFR, OIl pressure , Oil Temp, Boost

    4 - point Ralliart under brace /Thanks John/

    Its gonna be fun.......

The 2g oil pan went in today. Also replaced the intake manifold gasket

Skrap replacing the intake manifold gasket

Getting ready to get rid of the distributor and instal the coil packs

    Thanks guys!

On other note, I got these babes and just ordered the rotors from R1 Concept, so sometimes next week Ill have the 4-piston calipers installed. The rotors are 12.4'' /314mm/ in diameter vs. Evo ones that are 12.6'' /320mm/. When finances allow Ill get the 2-piston Evo rear calipers with 10.8'' rotors

So I got the 510cc dialed in with the MAFT and i get something very odd - under acceleration in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear I get knock when the AFRs are in the 12-10.0s. i just dont get it. Right now the fuel pressure is set to 50 psi.

I read an article about injector latencies and I think the ECU keeps the injectors open for too long since its set for 275cc.

Any advice would be appreciated it.

How much boost you are running? Which DOHC head are you using? Your ecu is eprom, you can have it socket and run an Evo 3 maps.

no boost for now. just trying to get the MAFT dialed in with 510cc. I havent swapped the ECU yet, but that will be done very soon. As soon as im done with the GS ECU on SOHC head, Ill swap the 1g head with cyclone intake.

Since I bought many gauges /I got a deal/, I needed to come up with a spot to place the important ones like AFR and Boost. So, I came up with this:

Yeah, its was something like that, but i put the stockies back in, cuz I was getting too much knock when throttle is past 50%. Ill wait till I put the turbo in, besides Kolio hooked me up with some 450cc blue tops and Ill start with them.
