Yeah i'm pretty pissed about the oil seal, hopefully shouldn't be too expensive to fix, and atleast thanks to the power it's making it's a pretty good sign that it's not the rings causing excessive blow by

The guys pulled it apart today, and looks like it didn't spit the crank seal, it munched the oil pump instead, I've been told it's a common fault of the HKS cam belts, what they do is pull too hard against the oil pump and cause it to wear out the housing and dumo out the oil, he was saying he's seen it happen to quite a few evo's even a evo 9.

So it's gonna be a new ( second hand ) front case and oil pump and a genuine miti cam belt and it'll be back on the road

Just a word of advice to any running a HKS cam belt, you might want to think about replacing it or the same thing may happen to you

Got the breathers done at work today, turned out allright, it was going to be to much hassle to put them in the side of the cover so I just stuck them in the top, stoked cause the bonnet closes :-o

Yeah i'm pretty sure that was because the boost controller was having issues adjusting the duty cycle for the new boost levels, pretty sure it's sorted itself out now and is holding steady at 1.55 bar

Those runs were done at over 30 psi or 2 bar!
