    '00 ES in Seattle

Hey ya'll! Im about to head to the fair but wanted to say hello first.
Im in the Seattle Metro area and have a '00 Galant ES in great shape. I want to know what I need to focus on with G thats almost 150k to make sure all my 'bits-n-pieces' are in order before I start having some fun with it. Basicly what are my maintenance concerns with my car?
Im interested in new brakes, suspension (details on this please), fluid exchanges, intake and exauhst, and all other basic build-ups. I want better than stock but not items that will break my bank account.
Over all this is a family car but I want it to be a bit of a sports sedan too. Im going to keep this wonderful car until its ready for scrap ... so Im in this to the end.
    Thanks T.G.C!

1st thing, make sure the timing belt has been changed, if not that should be your 1st important thing on the list to do. Always can replace your plugs/wire's if needed also.

Brakes: You can go with the r1racing rotors, you can purchase them in drilled/slotted for much better stopping power. I also suggest you install SS lines, since your doing this already might as get the max out your braking system. For pads i love HAWK pads, they stop on a dime, but they are little expensive $80-90 for the fronts. PS: the rotors come in 2 lines, prem or e-line quality is little better for prem, but for Daily driver E line is fine. Can buy everything below.

Intake: you can go with short ram or cold air, i prefer the injen intake thats what i used when i 1st started out and it gave the car a little pep.

Check out the suspension forums for more info, since this can get very detailed.

Can buy alot good things from this vendor also http://www.importcarpartsplus.com/ BTW: 00-03 RS/GS ECLIPSE suspension, brakes will work on the 99-03 galant I-4

Sweet! Thank you Ice that was more than I was hoping for. Im getting my gal' ready for winter so making sure all the necessary maintenance is done prior to my adding goodies. Im on the brakes next pay period but I would like to find some decent wheels. Im running stock stamped steel and dont need anything fancy. Im more pragmatic than flashy. Are there stock alloys that work well or should I look elsewhere? Im more than happy to research but if ya'll can point me in the right direction that would be awesome!
DK, Im in woodinville to be exact. Are there local meet-n-greets?

any wheels with bolt pattern 5x114.3 will work, check out junk yards for stock wheels from the Galant GTZ/LS. Or this thread for ideas/fitment of what some of us are running.
