    5 speed recommendations

i know alot of guys have posted alot of different components for the 5 speed swap(which i plan to start in the next month) but i was wondering which components...flywheel, clutch kit, etc... were the most successful and came out with the best performance..im just starting to buy all the necessary parts to prep for the swap, i just want to know what the best possible options would be, im on a budget, but i want it to be done right and im willing to pay for a better part if its worth it..

What kind of G do you have?

    Edit:

I checked your garage and it seems like you have a 8G I4. You have a large assortment of parts to choose from considering you can take parts from the 3G and 2G Eclipse as well as the Evo. Too many things to list.. Just make sure you do it right the first time so you dont have to take it all apart again cause you forgot something, or you felt like being cheap.

also base your parts selection on the cars current engine power level and your intended use for the car, no sense in putting a clutch capable of holding 400ft lbs of torque but being a PITA to daily drive when you have a cold air intake and an exhaust. Most likely if your mods are minimal you would want to go with an ACT 2100 clutch, or the equivalent level Fidanza or Spec clutch. As for the flywheel, if your mods are minimal you can just use a stock flywheel and have it resurfaced, no sense in putting a performance light weight flywheel on a nearly stock power level engine. Hell I was making over 400whp and I went from a 9lb fidanza flywheel to an 11lb ACT flywheel because I thought the fidanza was too light for my power level. I wouldnt consider fidanza again unless I was making 550+whp and never street driving the car. Welcome to TGC! Im sure if you search you will find more info on this stuff.

So how bad is it to swap a manual into an automatic position?
