your 7g has an antenna in the rear windshield. you don't even need to use your power antenna. A so called shorty antenna would only look gay.

Do you have an aftermarket headunit? if so just hook it up to your glass antenna and disengage the power antenna all together.
Or do like me and get sirius and never listen to bullshit radio or commercials again.

I rarely listen to the radio in the first place. Whoever had the car before me left their XM radio antenna, but took the unit out. So the antenna is already wired through the car and all that good stuff, I just need to get the adapter for my Kenwood to use it. Kenwood actually supports Sirius..but since XM and Sirius are one in the same now, it'll work.
