    the whole brembo debacle

I was reading through the threads and I have never been more confused about brakes for the worth of my life.

so here's what I have understood:

EVO 789X brembo brake calipers have the bolt pattern of a JDM EC5A (8G) VR4.

Some brackets out there can make the EVO789X fit onto a 2G (i.e. a 7G knuckle) with stock rotor size, looking like this:

some will fit with their corresponding rotors, like this:

So my question is, what about E84A JDM VR4 front knuckles? More precisely, can I just slap these calipers onto a 6G USDM VR4 knuckle? Because my 7G VR4 comes factory with identical 2 pot calipers as a 6G VR4.... Which I don't know if they are the same as a 2G 2pot....?

For easier research on my part, can you tell me what's the bolt spacing on a brembo caliper and what is the bolt spacing of a 7G Galant front brakes? In mm if possible?
    Thanks for clarifications.

    ^^

Not the same with a 7G VR-4, the rears will bolt straight up to the 7G vr-4, use evo 5-10 brembo calipers and discs.

The front's will work too, but they won't just bolt straight up. PM me for details if you'd like to know how.
