    8.8 @ 165 2G AWD Gas Record

My dawg just set another record! And heres what he had to say..
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, so yesterday was a good day. I took first place for Fastest Car at the NC/SC Shootout. And I also got a new personal best and a little Record under the belt. The car has a lot more left in it. My 60 ft wasn't that great and I actually hit boost cut right around the 1/8th mile.
I honestly think the car will go 8.4's or 8.3's as it sits. Just tweaking the tune and suspension.

if he gets a better reaction time that thing would take at least a second off! Thats a damn fast car.

Even with a better reaction time he would easily set up into mid to low 8s, tweak a few other things as much as possible I would bet he could see high 7s

REACTION TIME DOES NOT AFFECT 1/4MILE TIME.

The time starts after the car moves past the sensing equipment. RT only matters when you're racing against someone

WOW...I bet if he shortened 3rd and 4th by .1 he would drop to sub 8...
edit: 4th is a long ass gear with 1:1. it sounded like he still had room up top in 4th

I didn't intend to make it seem as that sorry lol.

If there is one thing I have learned from watching and learning from the guys race at the strip out here its that those with a good R/T are more consistent throughout the strip. Practice the reaction times more and everything from the tree down is a cake walk. Other things can play a big factor in the e/ts as well. No doubt he has a solid run already, but I can definitely see this guy with more tuning and track time setting in the low 8s and knocking on the high 7sec door.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.
