Hornet Alarm/Remote Starter in my 7G

for the last week or so I have noticed a belt squealing when I start my car. I have narrowed it down that it only happens when I remote start it, not when I start it with key in ignition. any ideas what's up?

remote start may be draining more on the battery causing the alternator to squeal for a second because of the load. I would take the car in to where you had it installed and see if they have a wire messed up on the ignition causing a larger drain the normal.

I have owned the car for over 2 years now and it has been in the car since before I bought it. This just recently began to happen

hmm weird! I would have it checked out still just for the hell of it, my be something as simple as a relay going bad and making a bad connection.
