The major differ between the galant and the outlander intake mani is the galant one is common to cracking. the outlander isnt. and as far as i know, it is direct bolt on. im actually looking for this myself.
Currently on my 3rd 8G... Not giving up this time!

Youll get a better TB responce since the TB on the outlander is bigger than the stock 4cyl G. Better air flow and stonger intake manifold...outlander TB is a 65mm like the 6g72 G

would having the outlander intake manifold reduce mpg since its bringin in more air? I'm trying to decide if I want to do this as well as get a different throttle body.

The OP: if you're doing a DOHC swap with the Evo head, then YES, you CAN fit the evo intake manifold onto your motor.

someone (i forgot who, maybe someone on club3G) made a list of the Kia and Evo Head supplies needed for the DOHC swap, the evo intake manifold is one of the supplies which fits on a 3G, thus it fits on a Galant motor as well. The highlighted section in the picture is the listing for the evo 8 manifold and various 4G64 parts.

I'm running on an Outlander Manifold. I'm getting a little better throttle response cuz the TB is the same size as the V6 TB. and a lil better gas mileage.

Yeah I think this would be better than the outlander manifold, how much?
