evo 8 ecu question "need advice on purchase"

i'm HAVING a real hard time on this one guy's i'm gearing up to purchase my ecu a friend has one that he's willing to let go for about 100 bucks but i can get one on ebay with key, ignition switch, ecu, immobilizer for around 300, should i get the whole set up or just the ecu.

I already have a manual immobilizer "it's a wired microcontroller with a "set key ID" that works exactly the same as a stock immobilizer if i take out the key then you can't run the car it's 100% black wired into the system.

with that in mind what do you all think?

you dont need the key and ignition switch. You can disable the immobilizer check in the Evo Ecu.

this way you wont need to carry around 2 keys.
