Just did a search and this thread popped up. So where is the coolant sensor, I'm now experiencing the same problem. My fans haven't come on since I got my car back on Tuesday....

The coolant sensor is also called ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temp Sensor). If the ECT and the thermostat are not to blame, then check the PCM module (Power control module) and get it diagnosed at the dealership.

Most likely it's the thermostat and the ECT sensor.

BTW if you're going to IFO on Sunday I will gladly explain this to you.

ECT sensor is located a few inches from the upper radiator hose heading towards the firewall. It looks like a spark plug bolted onto the metal pipe connected with a plug & wires.
