03-Galant-ES's build thread. Not much but more to come I hope.

So this is how I got the car in 07:

Came on 18s with a bit of rear quarter panel damage. First thing I did was throw on Falken 512s 225/40-18. The tires were great, but I wasn't a fan of the 18s or the thin tire side wall.

Not much happened then I went off to college and she was parked on the 18s.

I hit a curb last winter on an icy road, bought my 89 Montero and parked the G again. This time I started to put in more work to the G.

I fit mesh to both grills and the lower bumper.

Then I painted me some orange fogs :)

Then I cleared the corners and painted them the same color as fogs.

Made a gear selector light there is a tut by me for this.

My girl got me some blue LEDs for gauges.

Yup finally started doing more work to her in March of 09

Back on the road still on 18s lowered.

The front passenger 18 went flat, that was second time. The wheel was damaged so I replaced the 18s with 17s which I preferred.

Yup this is still stock for now except I cut out the bottom of my intake and put K&N filter in it.

Projector heads from ebay with 4500k 35w digital ballast HIDs by DDM tuning.

The halos will be amber with an amber LED in the turn signal spot so they are same color.

The projector fogs have been fitted and look lovely.

I love my 03 tails so nothing is happening in the back.

    Current projects:
Turbo(on hold until 5spd is done)
    5spd swap

    Enjoy.

Haha I am same way I work on G on a day off drive it to work the next day. An evo as a daily would rock.

Btw guys this is what I am gonna be trying to fit in my fog housings next week

They look good I think and they look like they may fit decently after I dremel the back of the fog housing a bit.

If I like how they look I may get some 35W 3000K HIDs in them

Me my bro and my bro in law do all the work. I may pay my mechanic to do things like alternator just so I have someone to yell at if my battery doesnt charge, but thats about it.

Update: Just ordered female 800 and male H11 gonna wire the 2 together and use it to connect to the H11 fog bulbs. No cutting my stock wires for now at least.

Ordered Halogen 3500K colored bulbs to see if I like them or if I would prefer white in the projectors.

Cant wait til all the parts are in.

Ill let you know how they fit. I would definitely suggest the dealer I used they are very friendly and have great customer service with a range of mdx tsx and s2k projectors.

They also have ballasts and everything if you ask them before they ship out. Overall a great vendor and wants to see pics of the retrofit after its done.
