Pop goes the 94g!

Been having this problem for a while. Seems like when i start my car up i feel it shake a little bit and from the exhaust i hear popping sounds. Kinda like muffled popcorn popping. While driving I feel it popping also I noticed that I'm consuming more fuel than before. Had my wires and plugs changed recently, seemed to have only helped a little

What could this be?

It sounds like you're backfiring....from running rich.

Could be a faulty sensor (check engine light should be on)
could be that your timing belt jumped a tooth...
