dohc swap water pump spacer?

hey guys im about to start the evo 8 head swap and some one on evolutionm.net told me in order to do the 4g63 head on the 4g64 block i needed a water pump spacer.i looked around and couldnt find this info.is this true or does the back water pipe bolt up and fit just fine?

EVO guys need some type of spacer because their accessories are a little different. you dont need any spacers, the EVO water pump and 8g water pump are identical, I have put together several of these motors, never needed any spacers.

But you do need to use the evo's water pipe and not the stock one. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
