end of the generation

im hearing a lotttt of stories about the galant being discontinued within the future... they have been dropping trims a lot lately the 9g started out with like 4 trims then down to 3 and now 2... is the end really near?

Im afraid so. All i have see leads to the demise of the Galant. Just makes me wonder what will take the place of the full size car that Mitsubishi will offer.

Mitsubishi is supposed to have a game plan to increase vehicle sales to 100,000 cars. That would have to include the Galant as it was the ONLY car they have on their roster that even sold that many in recent years. On top of that with the MASSIVE Toyota recall, it is a safe bet Mitsubishi will have a good pick up because of it.

yeahh this isn't looking good. especially since they made the lancer sportback no dis to lancer or mistubishi but it kinda looks like a subby and im not a fan of hatchback carsss. thats more a vdub thing. if they discontinue what will happen to the thought of making mod kits and other products for the 9g will they be dropped as well?
