This may be a really dumb question but what is the difference between a 6bolt and a 7bolt? I have no clue what the difference is and what vehicles are they in? And what are the part differences? Again dumb question

What you are asking about is the 4G63 motor that came in DSMs

1G DSM = 6 bolt
2G DSM = 7 bolt
