Some Add-on Subs!

Ok, i have 2 12's right now. I had 4 12's but took 2 of the lower wattage ones out bcuz they're older than me. I've got a 650w Alpine mono amp to run the new ones an im haven trouble pickn another set to replace the 2nd set i had in. Feel free to throw in other brands..

I'm stuck between these.
Rockford fosgate P1-300w
Kicker comp- 12"-300w
Memphis Street edge-200w

what are ur subs.....svc/dvc how many ohms...whats the model number of amp u have....

I'm not rele mixing em. I guess in a way but im doin a pair of Boston G2's and some thing else. I want em all in a sealed box. Prolly 2 seperate boxes for each pair. The amp is like MRD-300 somethin close. Discontinued. But its got some power. Im tryn to chose another set of subs to go with it.

An i need SVC 4-ohm. My Bostons are svc 4-ohm bridged to 2-ohms on a JH-600 MTX.

Alpine Type R, but just buy 2 more of the same kind you have.

alpine type r is a great sub but they are dvc.....wont work for him

if your really dead set on 4 subs, get two more of the bostons and another mtx amp. you really dont want to mix 2 bostons on an mtx and then two of something else on a different amp. more subs doesnt = louder or better

I had Kicker Comp's and I kinda miss them.. not really since I run a Kicker L7 that outperforms both comps but I liked the setup

NYCking: Yea see what your sayn. Like its already one of loudest around here but im goin for somethin that will impress anyone. I jus smoked my stock Alternator on what i was run'n b4 an i dont think this new OEM will tkae that much strain of 2 MTX an 4 Bostons

I went through two altys with a 4000w mono and two type-x's.. Killed my gas mileage and my rear tires.. Sold all of it for $400 =(

Its worth it in my opinion.. Cause now, 1 year later, my alternator still whines.. I have yet to replace my third one..

I was pushing 2,400 watts RMS on the stock alty for over a year and nothing happened lol... Of course my amps where going down to 10 volts when I played it really loud...

If you want to impress people don't mix up your subs and amps...

Skip all this new fairy junk and get some old school Orion HCCA .25ohm stable amps and run 12 subs on one amp. THAT will impress people!

Damn Prophet, 10 is low as hell. I had mine down to 10.8 but thats after Alty was goin down. And when i say impress people, i dont mean friends. i mean almost wherever i go. Everyone that knos me knos i have the loudest system in our High school. lol

Ricky: I wouldnt think a HOA would affect the Ecu.

And i didnt kno Orion made an amp like that.
