    Weapon-R intake...

I'm getting ready to purchase a Weapon-R intake (cause there really isn't any other viable options). I know they make two models, the Dragon and the Hyper. What's the difference between the two? Is it just the filter. I'm obviously looking for whatever will give me the best performance gain. Thanks for the help in advance, you guys always come through.

    Wast of money!

    build yourself a CAI!

get a mas adaptor, 2 4"-3" rubber fittings, and the CAI kit for the '94-01 integra GSR

This one would work. Alls you would probalby have to do is to cut a bit off the short ram pipe, it looks a little long.

heres my CAI setup, shows u the 2 pipes you would need

and here is a MAS adapter and filter. you dont want one with the MAS adapter built into the filter, those wont work for a CAI aplication...

What Seth said is really your best bet man.

I do belive that WeaponR only makes the Hyper for the 7g even though thier website says differently. I had one, I liked it Have to admit that my car runs and idles better with the CAI though...

I have got a Weapon-R Hyper Intake and I am really happy with it. I think I would have been happier with a cheaper CAI though. If you have $180 to spend on an intake then go ahead I guess. If had to do it again I would have just made my own but oh well, you live and learn. Unless you really want a Name Brand intake go with it but if you don't really care then just make your own for less money. The difference between the Hyper and Dragon intake is the filters. The dragon is the newer filter. I like the Hyper better because of what I did, but the Dragon filter looks cooler.

I'm going to recommend the same. I bought the Weapon R. I now have a CAI that I made using the tutorial found here. I'll just cut this short and say "DIDO"

hey seth how does the 4-3 reducer fit on the throttle part of the MAS?? snug without any problems? or do i have to tighten the shit out of it so it fits the oval?? are there any leaks?? i have a regular 3-2 reducer but its stretched out so much the blue rubber is now green. i need to replace it soon. I was thinking since its getting somewhat nicer..[Knock on wood!!!] and seems like the worst is behind us. i might put my CAI back on any that might be a good time to replace all my fittings.

I would say skip the weapon R intake! I have one and I am gonna go ahead and switch to a CAI as soon as I get some money. The problem with the damn weapon R is that it doesnt exactly fit in the spot they say it is designed for. I had to cut like 3-4 inches off of the pipe. A lot of other people had the same problem as well. All in all I would say save the money and just make your own CAI.
