    Glove box

    How does it come out?

I dunno, on an 8g you push in on the sides and it falls down and out! I dunno about a 7g, maybe it's the same.

Screws, lots and lots of screws. Screws under it, up on the top of the glove box, in the cracks. I couldnt tell you how exactly because I havent removed mine since last summer, but all the screws should be pretty visible...

Yeah one screw is kinda hard to get at.

Once you get all the screws out, or all but one screw out... make sure you hold up the box because it'll drop down pretty hard and you might break the brackets.

It's just like Mitsu to have a shitload extra crap you don't need.

Why, I have an entire panel and about half a dozen screws I don't even need anymore! And if I just knew how to replace whatever is clicking in there, I'm sure I'd have an extra one of those, too LOL.

    First one: Red 88 - 245whp/312wtq - HIN: Nightshift - Chicago '07 WINNER
Second one: Durban 88 - Buckskin - SHP - Auto - Sold to more capable hands
Next one: White 84 flatty - t3/t4 - VELNAS - More to come

To get it out you need to unscrew the panel that is under it. There would be screws under it and on both sides of the open box. I didn't get it out completely, just let it hanging down.. I removed it to access the part that clicked. (That was really annoying).

This thing was clicking every time I switched my fan from internal circulation to external intake.

It's located behind the glove box, on the left side. When the polarity of power changes, it moves the leg to the opposite extreme position. Mine clicked when it reached one of it's extreme positions. Don't try to disassemble it if you don't really need - it's a pain to assemble it back and you wouldn't be able to fix anything inside anyway. Mine was clicking because one of the wheels inside f*cked up. I wasn't able to fix this small annoying piece of crap, I've only managed to switched the modes in which it was clicking (full left/full right - internal/external). But I managed to stop the clicking the other way. I used a piece of metal that was covering expansion slots on the back side of my computer. (Any thin piece of metal or plastic, or anything else you can use would fit.) I used tha piece that was about an inch long and around 1 mm thick. Look a the clicking thing when it is inside the car. Notice on which side it clicks. (I made mine to click when it goes roght when i'm looking at the dash.) Notice that it only clicks when it goes completely to the end (till it hits the plastic thing). Try inserting something thin between the leg of this clicking thing and the piece of plastic it hits. I bent that piece of metal around the plastic thing and used strong glue to fix it there. Now this piece of metal doesn't let the leg of that clicking crap to touch plastic, so it doesn't start to click in the extreme position, but it moves enough to switch from internal circulation to outside air and back. I have no pics of this thing inside a car, but it's easy to figure out how to make it work =)

Sorry for my english, I hope it helped you )

BTW, I've found the name of that clicking part - it's called "AIR SELECTION DAMPER CONTROL MOTOR"
