heat and ac would go to defrost but not vent

ok. After my buddy and I try to install a steer wheel remote adapter so i can use it on a aftermarket deck. It got cold so I try to turn on the heat but it would only go on defrost no matter which direction i put it. the computer reads it fine that says that im on vent n floors but the air is just blowing on defrost...can anyone help or having a related issues?

sounds like a vent flap is stuck, now we need to figure out why

could be a wire cuaght up in the blendoor motor. or a bad actuator. i would pull radio back out and recheck install.
