    Alternative Guage colors

I want my interior lighting to match my exterior, so I removed the oem guages and colored the white (on the backside) with a maroon marker. I have a spare set of HVAC controls and it looks really nice. I am going to get a spare cluster and try doing it to that too.

During the day it looks like normal, but at night the light shows through burgandy.

hey how do you take those off?

they are glued on, I took a butterknife and worked around the edge (since the area that is lit isn't glued). They eventually popped right off.

What kind of markers were you using? I used watercolor markers and it looks very nice. Especially since I got my new stereo that I can customize the colors for.
