    burning oil... most likely

    so i have a 94 s galant sohc
    but now my oil is disappearing...
    i know my oil is leaking from the distributor but its just a little


    but i noticed that its smoking out the tail pipe.. i think blue
    can someone tell me all the possibles that it could be if its burning???

    how much do you have to top it off. eg quarts every so many miles this will tell you where your at.

    Quite possibly your piston rings are on their last legs or you are leaking oil from your valve seals. Basically you are burning oil in your combustion chamber which is why you are loosing oil and burning black/blueish smoke.

    Time for a new motor or rebuilt motor.

    Or you could do what I did... You could just rebuild your motor yourself... You learn soo much about a platform by just taking things apart and putting them back together.. Trust me!!! But yea you do need to either rebuild or get another motor...
