Im gonna buy HID kit from DDM (Theyre on sale , 35$ for a set!!!!) and I dont know if I should take 6k or 8k? I want nice bright lights with hint of blue but I dont wanna too much attention from cops.

Personally I have 8k but cops over here in PR dont care, OEM BMW's etc. use 4300k so you can get 6k and you should have much trouble.

Just compare some pictures or videos of the two color temperature, 8000k isnt a whole lot of light

if you scroll down you can see when my 6k look like. keep in mind they are 55w, not 35w they are brighter, same color tho.. if you want bluer, go for the 8k

if ur going with the 35w get 6k if ur going 55w get 8k they are the same color but the 55w is so much brighter it dulls out the blue. i personally got the 55w 8k for 60 buck cuz mine are H4 hi lo but theyd be 45 for the 9006 and i think ud like the light output better

Whats the general difference between 35W and 55W? is the color temperature the same?? its just 55W are brighter?? Also aren't 55W get wash out with time?

8000k of the 55w are the same color as the 6000k of the 35w as the brightness offsets it.

I'll think about it , look at some pictures , I got HID for my gf's scion tc last xmass and they're 35W 6k , and they look really nice and they are pretty bright.

Chris thats bad advice 55w in reflectors is a bitch to anyone you drive behind he will be fine with 35w 6000K

the world specs have no glare at all. i put on my highs as 1 low beam went out and i didnt even get flashed once but they are very bright so i dont believe the HIDs will pose an issue
