    yup i have 225's on my 8" wheels and they're no where near stretched......they used to have 215's and even that wasn't much of a stretch

    Alright, just put on some 215/45/r17 high performance all weather tires, and...

    They don't rub!!

    I'm running with 235/45/17's and I fixed my clearance issue by rolling the fenders. It was a fairly simple process to keep a nice wide tire.

    235's are they way to go. That's what I went with.
