door speaker help

just wondering my brother has these speakers laying around http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SPS6...0C.html?tp=105
now if they would happen to "appear" in my car, in order to install them would it just be a simple removal of the old speakers in the door or am i wrong? i have the infinity system all stock speakers & amp, with an aftermarket hu

no not a simple swap if you have the infinity system. You could just replace the tweeter and the midrange and use the Crossover that comes with the alpine speakers on the tweeter as the Mid can run full range but it's not necessarily good for it.
you could run the aftermarket head unit front speaker wires directly to the alpine crossover and then to each speaker effectively bypassing the infinity amp.
That would be the right way to do it.
Type "s" should be able to run off of the head unit alone without a problem.
