Extractors on a 6G75 with supercharger.

I fitted extractors to our Aussie version of the galant, the 380.

It now makes just a fraction over 260Hp at the wheels.

(thats about 195 Kilowatts at the wheels.)

Here is what the exhaust sound is like.

I love the car to death, it's a credit to mitsubishi quality control.

Americans always get the short-end of the 'Japanese car manufacters performance' stick. Nissan always kept their cool cars (180sx, skyline, etc) overseas. Mitsu with their damn 380 galant in Aus. We like nice engines over here too.

I like my Galant for sure. It's just I feel like we get the short end. Like the V6 for the 9Gs ('04-'09) was only around 230 hp and they completely eliminated the V6 for the 2010 lineup. We didn't get the Evo until like 2-3 years ago. Stuff like that.

    yes...sorry for the alien language...LOL

We call headers extractors in Australia.

That car puts down 195 Kilowatts at the wheels by the way.

That's over 260 HP at the wheels in US terms.

Amazing what this 6G75 can be made to put out, and we don't have the Mivec heads either like you guys.

I would love to have a pair of them...

mivec would be a bitch to try and wire in though

I hope your Ripps supercharger gets sorted soon....its been a year...

My two sprintex ones have been in for over two years trouble free.

    what's the holdup?

the hold up was one guy doing all the work on his own whenever he had the time to do it.. but its done now. last i heard they were just finalizing things with ripp.
sorry i dont get on here very often. i spend most of my time on 9g. but as of right now. that site seems to be gone. i havent heard from anyone yet about what happened.

reason I ask is it sounds interesting.

well. i just talked to one of the guys tonight. all he really had time to tell me was that the software is almost ready for the DIY reflashes on your computer. the deal with that is, they write the reflash, and send it to you over the internet. you plug a lap top into your car. it reads and writes the new definitions.
so.. if thats what they're focused on. i'd assume things will be up and going with ripp fairly shortly.

Check my ECU reflash thread, saw hack last night.

Oh and for Red, they've had 4G eclipses dyno'd at about 400-450WHP on this kit, anything more and things will start failing.

Personally, I'm going to opt for a 5psi sc system with intercooler (they'll probably have a 5PSI NON inter cooled SC), will probably put down about 300-330whp, but will keep the car reliable which is what I'm going for.

Should be interesting to see what will become of this..Will give us some nice options.
