    RWD conversion

While I was "working", I came across this article:

I just got a 6g74, and I was just gonna keep my A/T, bu this seems sort of interesting. I tried looking around here and club3g, but I did't see anything about the 6g7X bolting up to a sorento transmission. ideas?

You'd be better off looking into Montero, Endeavor, or Outlander transmissions. Even 2G Eclipse AWD transmissions (which would probably be better anyways) as people have used those for nearly 20 years with FWD deleted.

Wasn't there something about the Supra MKII transmission working with the Evo motor?

I looked at some other sites and it seems that the sorento transmission was being used with a montero or 3000gt 6g74 (which is mounted reverse of ours right?). It just caught my attention because sorento transmissions are only about $300-$400 with lower miles. If they have one at my local picknpull, I might get it just to see.

Here you go, this site is dedicated to the 6GXX. Its not very busy but it will help you. Look for Old Colt he put a 6G72 into his 1st Gen Dodge Colt.
