that is what i want to do if i am able to find a head for cheap
so luckly my motor is good since it died at a low idle at a stop sign it didnt bend any valves bust any pistons etc so now its cleaned up and on its way back together unforatatly at this time i cannot do the dohc swap the only one i found is to much for my budget so ill have to put it off for now:(
How do you know you have no internal engine damage?
i pulled the head and inspected internals

me too tomorrow i am giving her a test drive
so i never got back i forgot but she is as good as new now. i am so happy
